Background

A brief history

Lakeshore at Lake Sheen was developed starting in 2003 on a small parcel fronting Lake Sheen, a Butler Chain headwater. Roughly 55 custom lots were released over a compact plat — most direct-lakefront or one lot back with community boat-slip access. Build-out ran from 2004 through 2015, predominantly as one-off customs in Mediterranean and transitional estate vocabularies. The community's small size (55 homes) and Butler Chain frontage make it one of the tighter-inventory lakefront communities in the area — sales typically run two to four per year.

The feel

What it's like to live here

Lakeshore at Lake Sheen sits alongside Lake Sheen Reserve on the southeast shore of Lake Sheen but with a different character — smaller scale, more architecturally varied (no single development phase locked in a vocabulary), and a tighter amenity footprint. The gate is keypad. The interior is a short loop with cul-de-sac spurs. Lots run 0.4 to 0.9 acre. Most lakefront parcels include private docks and boat lifts; non-lakefront homes carry shared community slip access. Architecture is Mediterranean and transitional with a small share of 2020+ modern rebuilds.
