How to submit a takedown notice
To be effective under the DMCA, a written notice of claimed infringement must include the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity — and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled — and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., a URL or screenshot).
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including attorney fees.
MLS photography and listing data
Property listing photographs and MLS data displayed on this site are sourced from Stellar MLS and are used pursuant to MLS participant and subscriber rules. If you are the copyright holder of listing photography and believe your work is displayed without authorization, please contact us at the address above. We will investigate promptly and remove content if warranted.
Counter-notice procedure
If material you posted was removed in response to a DMCA takedown notice and you believe the removal was erroneous, you may submit a written counter-notice to our copyright agent containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receipt, unless we receive notice that the complainant has filed an action seeking a court order.
Repeat infringement policy
MaxLife Realty will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts or access of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
