The commute anchor is Sanford. State Road 415 has been widened and runs directly into the city, which puts healthcare, retail, and employment within about 20 minutes for most Osteen residents. The Lake Mary and Heathrow office corridors are another 10 to 15 minutes beyond that. A significant portion of the Osteen buyer pool works remotely, which is increasingly the realistic profile for someone choosing this level of rural separation.
