Sunstone

Sunstone is a newer residential community within the Viera West master plan, developed as part of the Villages of Solerno area — one of the later-phase sub-villages in The Viera Company's ongoing westward expansion. The Villages of Solerno encompasses both a northern and southern section and represents the build-out push that accelerated through the 2010s and into the 2020s as the Addison Village framework took shape west of I-95.

Sunstone was developed with Lennar Homes as the builder, making it one of the few communities within the Viera master plan area not built by Viera Builders. Lennar brought its own production floor plans, typically offering larger homes — 2,500 to 3,500 square feet — with three-car garages and open-concept layouts oriented toward the Florida lifestyle. The community was positioned as a lake-oriented neighborhood, with a meaningful number of lots sited along internal lakes and designed to maximize waterfront exposure.

The community reflects the evolution of Viera as a destination rather than merely a convenient suburban address. Buyers arriving at Sunstone are typically choosing Viera intentionally — for the schools, the employment proximity to KSC and Patrick SFB, and the master-planned infrastructure — and Sunstone's newer construction and larger homes serve that demographic well. The community amenity package — pool, tennis and basketball courts, pavilion, and children's play areas — was built to the standard expected by buyers at this price point.
