Misty Creek

Misty Creek is an established residential neighborhood within the Suntree Planned Unit Development, developed in the 1990s as the Suntree master plan continued to fill its residential land inventory along the Wickham Road corridor. Suntree's PUD structure, active since 1975, allowed for the creation of dozens of named sub-associations — Misty Creek among them — each with its own character and HOA structure nested under the umbrella Suntree Master Homeowners Association. The community was built during an era when Suntree's mature landscaping and infrastructure were already well established, giving Misty Creek the benefit of a developed road network, trail system, and school district reputation.

Homes are single-family residences set on lots ranging from approximately 50 to 120 feet wide, with sizes typically between 1,500 and 2,500 square feet. The community operates a neighborhood watch program — a resident-driven safety initiative that speaks to the tight-knit character of the neighborhood. Misty Creek sits in a section of Suntree that benefits from mature palm and oak plantings along street rights-of-way, contributing to the shaded, established feel that distinguishes older Suntree communities from newer Viera builds. The community is positioned conveniently near the Wickham Road interchange with I-95.
