Bunnell is Flagler County's seat and one of the more underappreciated options I show buyers who want affordable acreage or rural character without completely leaving the orbit of the coast. The city itself is small and quiet, but it sits at the crossroads of US-1 and SR-100, which puts Palm Coast shopping and Daytona Beach within easy reach. Buyers here are typically looking for larger lots — sometimes homestead-scale parcels — or they're drawn to the new construction that has pushed inland from Palm Coast's more established sections. Grand Reserve & Golf Club is the headline project in this zip code and it caters to a different buyer, but the older residential streets around Bunnell proper attract people who want genuine affordability and Flagler County's low property-tax profile.
The employment picture in Bunnell has quietly strengthened with distribution and light-industrial growth along the US-1 corridor, and FEC rail access has attracted logistics interest. Buyers who work in Palm Coast or commute to Daytona via I-95 find that Bunnell's pricing can offset the extra miles.
