The Melrose Center consists of two to of the most attractive buildings located in the heart of Melrose. The buildings represent a limited selection of commercial property that faces the main thoroughfare of Hwy 26, a major roadway running from Gainesville to Putnam Hall Fl. The front building, “The Studios of Melrose” consists of eleven mixed use offices ranging from health care providers to artist studios, to a multi-room art gallery. The building represents the Victorian four-square design that is a historic standard throughout the town. The Center is licensed as a fifty-seat full service restaurant with both inside and outside eating areas. The kitchen was fully renovated in 2021, with much of the equipment upgraded to brand new condition. The facility has both inside and outside stages which are used to showcase musicians on a weekly basis. The inside hall is also used to showcase local artists’ work.
