The community's Traditional Neighborhood Development design — with a Town Center, library, trails, and a weekly outdoor market all woven into the same walkable grid — is a genuine rarity in suburban Lake County, and buyers who've lived in conventional Florida subdivisions notice the difference immediately.

The employment anchor here is unmistakable: Walt Disney World sits roughly four miles east, and the US-192 hospitality corridor reaches in every direction. A significant share of buyers are dual-income households with at least one partner working in theme parks, hospitality, or healthcare, and Cagan Crossings gives them new construction without the hour-long commute that would come from living closer to Orlando's urban core.

The housing stock itself — built by Centex and Meritage Homes between 2021 and 2025, running from compact three-bedrooms to five-bedroom two-stories — has the energy efficiency and warranty coverage that resale neighborhoods in Clermont simply can't match.
