Typically, an apartment syndication is best used when buying large apartment buildings or communities that would be difficult or imopssible for the parties involved to purchase and handle individually, this allows companies to work together to benefit from sharing resources, risk, and returns. 

 

The syndicator also commonly reffered to as a sponsor or general partner is tasked with raising money from qualifed investors who want to be limited partners and then the syndicator uses that oney to buy apartment buidings.
